Here’s a couple of simple tricks and tips that will take you from the “scrambling for meal ideas and ingredients who says eff it and just eats Chic-Fil-A again” person (that’s healthy, right?!) to the macro-mastering perfect-portioning food prep wizard that is just waiting to be unleashed.
BUY VEGGIES & FRUITS ALREADY WASHED & CUT
Yes, you might pay a buck or two more for this convenience, but the time you save in the kitchen is tenfold! Every supermarket has a refrigerated section where they sell peppers, onions, mushrooms, slaw, brussel sprouts, melons, apples, etc. already washed, cut, and ready to be your next delicious stir fry, or on-the-go snack.
USE A MEAL PREP SERVICE
Nowadays, there is every kind of meal prep service available to you via the interwebs so do your research, and you are bound to find something that works for your taste!

These small appliances have changed the face of the food prep world. They allow you to set it and forget it so you can get back to your daily life knowing your next meal is taken care of! Plus, finding a healthy recipe is 3 clicks away on google.
Not all of these are good if you are in a rush for a same-day meal. Crock pots are called slow-cookers for a reason! But with chili season fast approaching, it’s not a bad go-to for a savory dish.
COOK TWICE AS MUCH AS YOU NEED
If you find a recipe that you love but it takes you a little bit of time to prepare it, make a double or triple batch and freeze it for later. Not only will it be there if you are in a jam and need something healthy, but it will save you the time you would have spent making it again.
